Press Release: “HOODIE” Rally In The “HOOD”
On Tuesday, April 10, 2012, the Commission on Religion and Racism (CORR) will hold a
“Justice for Trayvon” demonstration and rally on the four corners of Mississippi and Walker.
The demonstration and information distribution will begin at 2:00pm on the east, west, north,
south corners of Mississippi and Walker; the rally program will begin at 4:00pm. Community
leaders, Elder Levern Garner, Rev. James Tatum, Rev.Joe Green. Dr. Isaac Richmond,
National Director, CORR, will deliver the culminating address, in solidarity with the 40-mile
student-march in Sanford, FL.
